Sporttape was launched in 2010. The Eureka moment came after we were treated using kinesiology tape for yet another sports related injury. We were amazed by how such a simple product (a piece of elasticated cotton tape!) had such an effect. From then on we were on a mission to tell anyone and everyone about the tape. Soon, we were referring so many people that they started to ask where they could buy the tape to apply it themselves. The proverbial penny then dropped.

Since the very beginning we wanted to ensure that every customer experience with Sporttape was exceptional and that is why we originally and exclusively partnered with K-Active. Not only are K-Active extremely passionate and knowledgeable, they are also the exclusive distributor of the original kinesiology tape from Nitto Denko and their own Gentle kinesiology tape.

However, the kinesiology taping market has evolved significantly in the last two years with many new brands emerging. But rather than retailing every brand that has come to the market we've been determined to uphold the level of quality set by K-Active.

Leading the way in terms of innovation and product quality has been SpiderTech and ROCKTAPE, whilst the original Kinesio tape has also seen a resurgence. Consequently, after much research, debate and testing we've chosen to add these three brands to Sporttape.

Sporttape.co.uk has quickly established itself as the leading website for kinesiology tape. And we've been fortunate enough to have trained Olympic physios & helped over 10k athletes from Sunday league footballers to Novak Djokovic, however, 2012 is our busiest yet!
