Kinesiology Taping Course

In conjunction with Sports-Taping we are now offering a one day training course in the application of SPORTTAPE & SpiderTech kinesiology tape.

Kinesiology Taping Course

The course is aimed at physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, sports therapists and doctors wishing to gain knowledge and a skill base in the application of kinesiology taping methods. 

The kinesiology taping course is also suitable for final year students wishing to enhance their skills before qualifying. The course is strongly practical in nature. On completion of the course, participants will be able to confidently apply techniques to a variety of musculoskeletal pathologies within a sports and general musculoskeletal setting.

Course Tutors

Patrick Harding - currently works as a Highly Specialised MSK physiotherapist in the NHS. His background is predominantly in sports having worked in Sydney with Australian Rules, professional rugby in Ireland and currently with the GB Olympic teams, mainly Archery.  

Rob Madden -currently runs and teaches sports taping courses around London and the UK. He works as a Senior Physiotherapist at The Centre for Health & Human Performance (CHHP), 76 Harley Street.

Outside of sports taping, he has a special interest in spinal dysfunction, IMS acupuncture needling and tendinopathies. He qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from Bristol UWE and also holds a diploma in sports massage and a Masters level certificate in acupuncture. Previously, Rob worked in various high level sports, private practice, NHS outpatients and inpatient rehab.

Rob has written pieces on the topic of sports taping, warm up and stretching and continues to work internationally with a variety of elite athletes particularly with Canadian pro snowboarding. Previously, he worked with Great British Olympic teams; to include Bob Skeleton, Snowboarding, Canoeing, Judo and Archery. In addition to this, he has also worked in professional rugby, basketball and semi-professional football.
