It all started on Saturday afternoon where two of the super powers of rugby league, England and New Zealand had a bruising encounter, with a place at the Rugby League World Cup Final up for stakes. England had the lead going into the last minute of play before Shaun Johnson who, assisted with kinesiology tape scored an incredible individual try and conversion to complete the win for the New Zealander’s!
There was a huge amount on Sunday's clash between Ireland and New Zealand with the game being Brian O’Driscoll’s last chance to beat New Zealand in his incredible career, and New Zealand’s chance to become the first international team to go a whole year unbeaten. The game certainly lived up to expectations! Ireland came out all guns firing and took a 19-0 lead which is unheard of against the All Blacks, but they can never be ruled out! With 80 mins on the clock, Ryan Crotty crossed to bring the game level, only for Aaron Cruden to slot the conversion on the second time of asking!
