SPORTTAPE to support Cancer Research Wales in 2016

Today is World Cancer Day.

Today is also the day that SPORTTAPE is proud to announce that we will be working with Cancer Research Wales throughout 2016. We are incredibly proud to be a British company, and to support the best of British. As a charity funding world-leading Cancer research, right down the road from our offices in South Wales, Cancer Research Wales certainly falls into that category. It also happens to be the charities 50th Anniversary, and what better year to be involved?

As a sporting company, we wanted to find a way to be involved as much as we could with Cancer Research Wales' active challenges.

Our first event will be the St David's Day run on the 28th February. This local 5km and 10km run is set in the beautiful Bute Park in Cardiff, where will be offering therapy and taping services to the runners. 100% of all money raised through this therapy on the day will go to the charity as well as a percentage of proceeds from tape sales. We may even have a run out ourselves!

Our hope is that through the partnership we will be able to raise and donate vital funds in the pursuit of a cure. Cancer Research Wales and the projects it funds are making vital progress into prevention, early diagnosis and better treatment, which will benefit cancer patients in Wales and beyond.
Find out more about the charity and how you can get involved in other events such as their Skydive Days, Great Welsh Walk and Sahara Trek over on their website.
