Sebastian Mora World Champion

Do you have any pre-race rituals?

Nada. I try not to get too caught up in superstition, as you never know when circumstances will prevent you from implementing them.

What's the best thing about being a pro cyclist?

I love the opportunity to learn new languages. We're very lucky that we also get to travel all over the world - experience new cultures and meet some fantastic people.

What Race(s) are you most looking forward to this year?

At the start of the year I was very much looking forward to the Tour Series as it was going to be a new experience for me - racing in different cities as a team. I was very happy to finish 3rd overall behind my good friend and teammate Albert Torres (who came 2nd). Then any chance I get to be back in the Velodrome I am very excited for.

What is the most important piece of kit when packing for a race?

Absolutely my shoes! Without the correct shoes, it’s hard to race, you are distracted and uncomfortable.
