PLANTAR FASCIITIS TAPING - YOU WILL NEED

KINESIOLOGY TAPING FOR PLANTAR FASCIITIS

  • Measure the K Tape from the ball of the foot to the top of the Achilles Tendon.

  • Cut the tape to length and round the edges to prevent fraying.

  • Plantarflex your foot and lay the tape down with 0% stretch along the bottom the foot, around the heel and over the Achilles.

  • Take some time to mould the tape around the Achilles tendon to make sure it sticks well.

  • Cut a short strip of K Tape and round the edges.

  • Apply the anchor underneath the arch of the foot.

  • Invert the foot and apply the strip with 50% stretch, pulling the arch up with the tape

  • Repeat step 2 if necessary to create a greater lift on the arch, overlapping tape slightly.

  • Rub the tape and wait at least 30 minutes before exercise.
